    Legend: In 2008 two former members of the Super Juffureh Band of Sukuta, namely Lamin Tul Berro Cham and Amadou Taylor Drammeh, came together to form the currently popular Dembad[o]u Band of Sukuta.

     

    The Band members were:
    Lamin Tul Bero Cham – lead vocal,
    Ma Awa Suso – vocal,
    Amadou (Taylor) Drammeh – keyboard & vocal,
    Lamin Drammeh – drums,
    Demba Manneh – (Kawlas) lead-guitar,
    Musa Nying – bass,
    Koro Touray – percussions,
    Ansunding Keita – (Ndings) percussions & dancer,
    Adama Joof – talking drum (Tama),
    Manka Susso – rythm guitar,
    Alieu Jallow – (Bongo) percussions,
    Femi Cham – promoter
    and Mass Cham & Ousman – technicians.

     

    The musical album »Badingya«, first released in 2009 as only a few copies, represents live recordings by the Alliance Franco studios, taken at Serrekunda in June 2008.

     

    It has been produced and has formerly been distributed by Sam Jarju / Reggae Manding (http://www.reggaemanding.de) Germany / The Gambia.

     

    If you decide to purchase the album legally, as digital loss-less or mp3 copies, here at Bandcamp you will support the artists and their families – all earned money is to be transferred there: to The Gambia.
